Wow! I'm impressed with the collection...I had no clue you had this much stuff, Geri. I've known that you were into garage sales and bakelite, but that was it. What is the goal here? The photo with the snail had great lighting. Good job.
This is a year long project, to take a look at my 35 years of collecting, some of these things are going up for sale on ebay! I am taking a second look to see what I can live without. Thanks!
I began by collecting dolls at the age of 5. The dolls sat on a shelf above
my bed. Everyday I would come home school and smile when I looked at the
dolls. That was it! From then on I was addicted to collecting.
I have an idea for putting a smile on my face everyday this coming year
2011. I will take a photo or paint a picture of my collections everyday for
365-days. This is about me and my lifetime love of art, design, and
collecting. I hold a Masters of Fine Art degree.
I have designed visual merchandising projects for major department stores. I
do photo styling. My art work has been shown in Fine Art galleries, and
museums in the USA and overseas.
